Nice Mike. What's the scale/size of that specimen?
My one from you put on some serious size over last summer, had a dribble of water the other day, and is now threatening to leaf again

Re: Adenium obesum Seedlings.
Many thanks, dragoadeniums - very helpful, informative post.
I'll give it another go next season with the feed and watering regime you suggest. I do wonder whether temp is an issue though (no greenhouse)...

Re: Adenium obesum Seedlings.
I have a nice medium-sized Adenium Obesum and had the black sap at tips. My biggest problem has been early die back of leaves. Regardless of how I water it within pure pumice, the leaves seemed to brown or blacken and then die back.
Is it a nutrition problem?

Re: pure pumice?
Most of my caudiciforms are potted in Bob Potter's pumice with no issues. This winter, they'll all be in the house with the central heating in an airy, light spot. On that basis, should I be misting them time to time to stop roots rotting? I have a mix of pachypodium, adenia, cyphostemma, and variou...

Lowering pH of Water
I think some of my caudiciforms may have suffered at the hands of (slightly alkaline) tap water when reliable sources suggest that lower pH's (as low as 4-4.5) are favoured by some species such as pachypodiums. I don't have rain water access via a water butt. Does anyone have a safe and tested way o...

Ernie, I'm not sure if I've ever seen an Adenium as green as that. Looks very healthy. Will be great to lift it a bit in future and see what lurks beneath!

Re: SB Plant invigorator, does it work?
Thanks for your replies. I may go back to the Bug Clear fruit and veg, or at least alternate between that and the SB. The SB should clean the mould off nicely if any forms from using the Bug Clear. I'm assuming the SB contains a detergent or soap of some sort as the jug I mix it in is sparklingly c...

Re: Incredible SULK- Fockea crispa
This plant was so impressive to see in the flesh. I hope for all attending the National's sake that it makes a swift recovery and that it's just a bit shell-shocked.

Re: Peter in Whitchurch
Hi Peter,
Do you have any succulents or caudiciforms lurking under the benches anywhere?
Amazing collection, by the way.
