One of my seedlings had it's first flower today. It's a lovely yellow and a lot bigger than the plant!

Lithops flowering for first time

I bought these Lithops from Derek Bowdery last summer and the one on the far left at the Kent cactus mart in April. They are now all producing flowers. Amazing. My first Lithops flowering.

My tube heaters are 100 watts and 125 watts. They keep an 8 feet long 2.5 wide, 2 tier wood staging around 3 degrees or warmer. I do bubble wrap the greenhouse walls though.

I got 2 from thegreenhousepeople last year. They were about £25 each and worked well coupled with an Inkbird thermostat

Thanks for the pointers I think I will sow them around November time in the propogator with lower temperatures during the night.

Seed sowing - Haworthia, Aloe, Gasteria etc

Please can I ask the experienced grower to give advice 're sowing and germinating seeds? My last lot failed to grow or even germinate! Not sure what I did wrong but clearly something! Thanks
