Dear Torbjorn,
The most of Dudleyas have now THE GROWING AND FLOWERING SEASON.
Under my condition they are now on the Topshelfs.
In the Summertime you can give a resttime if the Temperatures are too high.

next to last Picture is Acanthocalycium thionanthum i think.
The Lobivia haematantha var. elongata at Cachi are different.

Look the post from the Date: Wednesday, 14-Nov-2007, 13:11:20

It`s the same Plant on the Pereskiopsis stock, a little bit younger!
The high when it begin to develop the cephalium was 40-50 cm.
Because Individual single flowers are on the stem too.

Has firstly flowered from the middle of mai.
Is fertil with it self.

Dear Mike, in my opinion you can find more than one " forma" in the Toro. You have the round segmentet one thats described as Airampoa longispina or microshphaerica there. In the upper Parts you have Plants that looks like the chileans Tunillas and in the Quebrada de Tastil and upwards to ...
