The spectrum looks like the classic red/blue LED combination used in grow lights (very purple light).
I prefer white light (6000 - 6500 K) even for LEDs, sacrificing some efficiency for looks and ease of recognizing discolorations on the plants.

Re: Mixing Chemicals
if it happened just once that would be one time too many for me! For me as well, that's why I wanted to know what the active ingredient in the insect killer was. Acetamiprid is fine for soil drenches and also used in products/mixes containing fertilizers (and other stuff). It's good to be cautious,...

The insecticide should say in the instructions if it's safe to mix with fertilizers. I didn't find Bug Clear VWK in a search, so no idea what the ingredients are.

Re: Printing e-journals
If you don't mind the cost you could also have the journals (or a collection of articles) printed as a photo book - looks great and you get a hardcover book. With most of these services you can upload PDF files.

Re: My New Greenhouse is Finally Ready
Wow, indeed! I know garden centers with fewer plants.
I know it's probably not proper to ask and I won't mind if I don't get an answer, but what is a ballpark amount one would have to spend on such a greenhouse with this kind of automation/equipment?
