Does anyone know of a book/publication(s) that include photos with descriptions of juvenile cacti? A text that would cover the plants that are four or five years old or less? I would think that there are many of us who would benefit from such since there are many plants that resemble one another and...

Does anyone, except me use alcohol to spray on individual cactus plants for mealy bugs in their greenhouse? I attempt to spot check my plants daily for these bugs which always seem to appear from who knows where. At times I find some individual plants which have more than a few of these bugs on them...

I had to cut about two feet off my cleistocactus because it was to tall. I have researched various places about propagting these cactus but have not read anywhere about rooting the parts that I have cut off. Is it possible to get these cuttings (the tops that were cut off) to take root?
