I agree with that Ernie, all year watering for my indoor S.herrei seems to be working well, although during winter I lost two young S.multidum to rot. These last two were kept in a cool kitchen and may have suffered from damp. So provided the air is not too humid, I think a little winter watering is...

Perfect!
It must require not only an artistic eye to arrange the layout, but huge patience, steady hands and nerves of steel. With my track record, I can imagine myself in the process of placing the last mark of the pen, only to knock a bottle of black ink all over the finished work :duh:

Ah, tried downloading again and this time the whole lot arrived in seconds. Maybe broadband less busy. I was interested in the fog aspect. Whereas it seems there are more fog-dependent succulents in South Africa it appears that the role fog plays in Chile is less clear but significant none-the-less....

Very nice Josse, my Trichodiademia is looking a bit ragged at the moment and no flowers. I've had weeks of dull cool weather here, everything seems to be 'on hold' until we finally get a decent spell of sunshine.
