I've used copper tape, I had it round a pot of dahlias and up until yesterday I'd of said yes it worked but then I spotted a snail in there, so unless he jumped in? :duh:

Either a snail or slug has taken some juicy bites out of one of my Opuntias that I had outside this year too! What worried me more was when I saw a silver trail of goo in my shoes... didn't fancy putting them on again! :duh:

Oats! The slugs and snails love them but they make their bodies expand once eaten and similar to the effect with slug pellets, they disolve into goo!

Also, coffee grains, they hate the smell so they steer clear of anything near coffee grains!

Again like Stuart all my Haworthias live on the bottom shelf and are thriving there! Including a very healthy limfolia!

Speaking of Haworthias I potted up the TLC ones today Stuart! :)
