Re: A busy day

That propagator is huge Ralph! It's bigger than my greenhouse. Looking beautifully neat and tidy. Hope the seeds appreciate your care and reward you. Good luck.

Re: Cotyledon Cuttings

I have copied image off cacti.com to show the plant to which I referred. On this website it states" propagate by seed and easy to root down by cuttings. Plant leaves in good sandy soil and they will root".

Perhaps cactuspip can confirm if this is her plant?

Wonderful Paul. It's marvellous to see succulents growing in this country outside. You have a lovely spot. Real credit to you.

Re: Cotyledon Cuttings

It will root down in pure grit fairly quickly. Commonly known as pigs ear! Just remember if you have pets/children, it's leaves are extremely poisonous. Make sure you insert the ovals the right way up! Hope this helps.

Amazing colour change! Velour.

I'm sure you're all sick of this plant! I've posted to show incredible colour change in days following move from cold to warmth and sunlight!

Re: Hylotelephium

Hi Tony, Well thanks I guess. I have never come across Hylotelephium until today! Some people need more to occupy their minds and then I might keep up! I'm beginning to hate the term lumpers/splitters! Thanks for explanation anyway. I have iPhone 6 and photo taken with white button on front? Button ...

Hylotelephium

Where on earth did this name come from. What happened to Stonecrop and Sedum? Or is this different....Just get used to one name and it's changed!

These are bits I've overwintered in conservatory - saves heating greenhouse. I could supply bits of all - names might be harder....

Re: Cristate aeonium

Hi KathyM,
Yes it is. Mines a big clump as you can see but yours will grow! Let me know if you want more bits or anything special. This clump photographed really well as you can't tell which is right way up! I love technology....
