Re: Plant Labels
Their online shop is a bit confusing, but I think these are £9 per 1000 (L4 labels) + P&P. Could always ring them to check..... http://www.labelsnthings.co.uk/ Else, better still, I've just found this ..... £14.50 for 1000 post free from here (or £58 for 5000 if you want loads!!!) - see photo on...

Re: Unusual Opuntia seedling?
Pretty rare, I think - it's happened to me just once out of many, many opuntia seedlings over the the years. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

Re: Bug KIlling...
A clever marketing ploy? "Ultimate Bug Killer" sounds like a premium product, for a premium price, vs. "Vine Weevil" killer. As Ian says, both products are identical strength - 9.2g/l as a "suspo-emulsion" in a mixture of 1,2-propanediol and water: Bayer datasheets: htt...

I think it may have split tri-chotomously first (laws of probability, one in a thousand chance?!) since the heads are so even. I have one example of this - a M. crucigera I grew from seed nearly 20 years ago, split tri...

Re: I D on Mammillaria Elongata please
Yes, they are two of the many forms of M. elongata.
The central spined form used to be called M. echinaria in the past.
