Tough as old boots, will take plenty of water in Spring-Autumn in well-drained compost.

'Little Warty' indeed
which is a cross between G. batesiana and another hybrid 'Old Man Silver'.
When 'Little Warty' flowers you will see that it has the splendid "longiflorae" flowers so typical of G. batesiana.

Lovely - seeing your perezdelarosae encouraged me to look into my greenhouse just now to see what was flowering amongst the mamms. First time I've managed to get out there this week! No perezdelarosae in flower. Several lasiacantha/magallanii (always early flowerers for me) but I also spotted these ...
