Super photos on this thread. I've just edited my post as I had wrongly named Huernia campanulata as clavigera, but can't seem to be able to edit the name on the photo.
I've edited the photo name for you Diane - this is dome on the File Comment box on the Attachments tab.

Best, Tony

Re: David Hunt

This is indeed very sad news, Phil, thank you for sharing it more widely. Sincere condolences to the family.
Two more books which David edited and I refer to often, are of course:

Re: Chelsea Flower Show

My congratulations too to all concerned for these two great Gold Medals.

If you are also interested in other SA plants then the Proteas and Restios from Kelnan Plants got the top award in the Pavilion and of course SANBI-Kirstenbosch got Gold again with their Mountains of Abundance display.

... I love the spines
You wouldn't if you got one caught on your person!
Indeed, the hooked spines on mine have a very tiny barb - that is what keeps the spine caught under the skin and makes removal painful!

Re: login

Ok yes there is an issue but not sure what it is yet. I do have a selection of up to date browsers which are all fine, however on an out of date chrome at work brought up log in box that has been reported.... and just had a thought while typing this and managed to reproduce it on an up to date brow...

I think you may well be wrong there Mike. There's ia always an interest in flower pics. whether is cacti or " other succulents". I personally would like to see Pachypodiums, Mesembs. Stapelia, etc. Cheers
Not forgetting gasteria, haworthia, aloe, adromischus, crassula, etc .....

A much superior programme to "Gardeners' World" and it is a shame that the BBC essentially hides it away in their schedules.
I just set it to 'Record Series' on my FreeSat+ box then I can watch at a time to suit me at my leisure and don't miss it!
