Re: Cactus Seedling Mix up (again)

I can't see any sign of a hooked central (or more), so that should narrow the options down to these. I think they're old enough to have shown up by now, though sometimes they start straight and then the newer ones are hooked. 2) Mammillaria brandegeei v gabbii 2015_BCSS_33 3) Mammillaria laui 2015_...

Re: Cactus Seedling Mix up (again)

Mamms? Possible. These are what I've bought. Is there any of these we can definitely discount? I'll check tomorrow to see which (if any) of these are in the GH. 1) Mammillaria bombycina VM480 VM480 2015_BCSS_32 2) Mammillaria brandegeei v gabbii 2015_BCSS_33 3) Mammillaria laui 2015_BCSS_34 4) Mamm...

Cactus Seedling Mix up (again)

Whilst preparing a list of seedlings for sale I've discovered a tray of seedlings that has contains two types (as I often do), but I seem to have the label missing for one of the types. I seem to recall potting them up with the label in the tray, and there wasn't another label. Probably I accidental...

Ceriod Cactus ID, please.

Originally both stems looked like the tall stem on the left (large bottom piece with new growth on top). Both stems were very yellow. The stem on the left has...

Re: Lambs’ “Illustrated Reference”

There is now an alphabetical list as a PDF of just "Illustrated/Stapeliad" books which is available on request by PM or email. The full list (all 80 pages) is currently under review at Amazon and will be available as an PRINT version and possibly an eBook version. The Print/ebook version contains th...

Re: Lambs’ “Illustrated Reference”

A bit of a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone has ever produced a comprehensive index to all five volumes of The Illustrated Reference on Cacti and Other Succulents. (That is to say, an index down to species level.) It’s a little awkward juggling five books to find info about a particular pla...

Re: Late seed lists etc

I understand it is first come first served.

This topic comes up every year at this time, and has been discussed at great length in the past.
