Kent Cacti/Connoisseurs' Nursery in Orpington

I can't seem to find any information on said nursery other than mentions in previous threads or on other websites completely. People obviously visit it but i see no informatio...

Re: Cacti & Succulent Outdoor Raised Bed Project

Some recent pics of the collection enjoying the snow! everything grew well over 2020, i removed the pink flowered Delosperma at the front of the bed in mid summer, as it constantly threatened to smother other plants. IMG_0791.JPG IMG_0769.JPG IMG_0770.JPG And one from late last year IMG_0694.JPG

Re: Aeonium Hierrense Flowering

Ok thanks everyone, sounds like the boat has sailed on the leaf cutting idea, I'll attempt it anyway, might as well if the parent is not long for this world! (tu)

Aeonium Hierrense Flowering

My Aeonium Hierrense is flowering, Ive had it for about 3 years now, but is it likely to die completely afterwards? Ive never had a Aeonium flower before, so its new to me, but i have read that a lot of the rosettes die after flowering, but not sure how true that is. DSCF0178x.jpg DSCF0246x.jpg DSCF...

Took a photo today, plants growing well. lost an Aloe over winter, but that was to be expected as it wasn't a hardy variety, have noticed some regrowth from below ground though! Re: Cacti & Succulent Outdoor Raised Bed Project

So, today's windy/blustery weather has taken it's toll on the raised bed cover. As you can see from the photo's the plastic poles are just too flexible in the face of strong wind's, 5 of the 6 have snapped near the base where there is most stress. A couple had broken previously when it's been a bit ...
