Sorry if someone has already asked and I've not seen it but has anyone used SB plant invigorator to kill root mealies by watering it into the pots?

I'm sure I read somewhere on here a little while ago that someone recommended a phone app that helps you identify plants etc. I wish I'd made a note of it at the time. I have tried to search for it but haven't had any luck. Can anyone remember it please?
