Re: Gerrardanthus macrorhizus haircut time

Sorry to bother you with this again, I'm just trying to understand because I'm very careful when it comes to nitrogen. How much of that fertilizer you add to, lets say, 1 liter of water? Also, is there any other ingredient (phosphorus, potassium...) important for these plants?
Thank you :)

Re: Gerrardanthus macrorhizus haircut time

I'm not sure I really understand Mike, so I'll ask: you mean fertilizer has high levels of nitrogen? If so, how high?

Re: Hello!

Hello & welcome aboard Sophie. Your way of naming plants reminds on my kids', I had plants named Eugene, Froggy, Niagara etc, etc :) Anyway, your plant looks like oreocereus to me, most likely oreocereus celsianus.

Re: A few

This reminded me: anyone knows the difference between diadematus and inermis?

Re: ID of... gast-haw-aloe?

I admit I had doubts about both IDs :) :( I have LW and the leaves grow differently than this one. Then I've read description more carefully (Leaves: Distichous or more or less spiraled) and... thank you both :)

I got this plant as gasteria spec. Any hints about it's possible parents?
