Um hum... don't hold your breath, they don't flower easily. They produce a lot of offsets / pads (can't recall the correct term, thank you rusty brain) so they make quite a display. Cactus Kid.. I'm kinda envious on didieria.. tried to grow it a few times but failed. And I'm still trying to figure out how can that little green part feed such a big yellow area on cereus :)

I remember a lesson I got about 100000000000000000000 years ago when I got carried away with C&S: 'if they go dormant because of the heat wave (and they will) just spray them, never water'. My teacher could have been wrong but I still follow that rule...
