Seed for mesems should remain viability for many years. Some say even up to 20 years (but usually add the seeds to still be in the seed pods).

I've recently acquired some seeds from this species, should I leave sowing till autumn? or will they grow in my coolish NW facing, darkened room if I sow them now? Or put it in a big container that catches all the leaves, so you can keep it in your greenhouse.
