Ooh didn't know they did them, I do have some battery powered fairy lights that have a built in timer, all these new gadgets :roll: .

With your obregonia, do you find it quite thirsty ?, also they seem to go yellow/pale coloured if they aren't repotted often enough or is it just mine & bad parenting. The Echinocactus texensis is beautiful, it's one i have tried growing a few times but have given up now, I can't even remember seein...

I think with the rhizotonic it wouldnt be as effective as rootgrow because bonsai tree's want it more moist than you would keep your cactus & suucculents at. I have been pleased with the results when using rootgrow, I used it to get some ariocarpus to root they had been unpotted for a long time in t...

or fairy lights look quite nice too :wink:.
I keep meaning to buy the poultry alarm but it seems soo expensive even though my plants are worth more than £70 so isn't really.

Give some Water to cleistocactus & gymnocalycium over the winter, maybe not the choicer ones like friedrichii or any newly acquired or recently repotted.
