Yes, just allow a seed pod every couple of years to ensure that you maintain it in your collection and remove the rest. As I have been planting up and repotting this afternoon I think I have confirmed my suspicions ... no rules ... one Echinopsis is budding AND offsetting. Found the bud on the non visible side ... pups are on visible side.

Thanks for sharing your picture and story. A trip to the greenhouse is always worth making regardless of time of day. Surprises make the day. Pity that politics have to get in the way of naming plants.

Non-knowledgeable visitors of the human kind who tweak plants and their labels thereby disturbing how you have arranged things for whatever reason, and put the labels back in the wrong container or worse, not at all.

My daughter is a senior pest control technician. She uses this for control of insects in places like museums where chemical treatment is not possible. I'd think it worthwhile trying it.
