this grows very fast here on the CA coast, really loud flower color.

Was Calandrinia spectabilis now Cistanthe grandiflora.

Taller greenhouses increase the volume of air significantly more than the surface area (heat loss). that is really something to see, I wish mine grew that well without me watching..

I pollinated mine, the females are enlarging and it reminded me to get a very fine mesh bag to catch the seeds.

Euphorbia esculenta

This older plant was showing signs of N deficiency and had not been repotted for years. It took some time to get it out of its pot.

The roots are interesting that's for sure.

Anyone rooted cuttings off of the side stems?

Alex,

are you perhaps thinking about BioChar? There has been some research (not with C&S) using this material with mixed results. With a high price point, I doubt I would use it.
