Re: Chamaelobivia 2024
Edith is still flowering away in my office (along with 'Lincoln Whirlwind', 'Lincoln Tango' and 'Lincoln Might') and 'Shot Scarlet' has joined them this week. Re: RHS Plants of the year
I have a few x Semponium and they do appear to be expressing more Aeonium genes than Sempervivum ones in how they grow and their hardiness. Good to have you back on here Colin. I look forward to reading your article. As a splitter by nature these new groups make sense to me so will be interesting to read your thoughts.

Great pictures Allan as always. Thank you for sharing.
I wouldn't have guessed springbokvlakensis was a part of that last hybrid if you hadn't said.

Re: RHS Plants of the year

I prefer the idea that splits Manfreda, Polianthes back out and created Echinoagave, Paleoagave and Paraagave. Here's some 'interesting' suggestions for the new hybrid gene...

Re: Planted out Polyphylla
Looks good. What size is the plant? I have lost plants about a foot across when plants closer to two foot have survived fine. It might be worth fitting a rain cover over the winter to keep the wet off.
