Aloe label question
Hello folks; I have an Aloe with a pretty old metal tag label, thin aluminium by the looks of it, white painted and then written on in pen. Sadly the field and collection data is the most faded, typically that is what I am trying to decypher. It says clearly Aloe Erinacea and what looks like ES1241 ...

Re: International convention
I really enjoyed the weekend and was equally impressed as above with regard to the organisation and the venue, thank you John Arnold for emailing me as a late book g and persuading me to do the full weekend. It was good to gain insight into habitats and plants i've not seen or heard of and to be abl...

Re: BCSS Judges Course
Interesting reading. I've contemplated the judges course but rejected it at least this year even though I have the time off. Theres no way i could feel expert enough to identify at sight so many species in order to spot a NAS plant with erroneous label etc. It seems a nice enough sounding weekend bu...

Re: A success story
Really very nice Ralph and Diane, I had to give up on this kind of Euphorbia as I cannot keep the heating up enough seemingly and the larger greenhouse I have space in is unheated. Those seedlings look great too, well done.

Re: Fingers with nail polish
Really nice Christer, I have one of these but it is showing no signs of a bud as yet. I'm so scared of watering them! Lovely delicate flower colour though.

Re: Shading
Thanks Terry; Cheers for the observation, I'm not sure my Dad had ever particularly bothered with removing it as the greenhouse is sighted oddly for the area in the front garden with its south facing aspect, it gets quite warm in there on sunny winter days, although I do appreciate what you are sayi...
