Thanks Mike for a well organised and detailed talk yesterday evening, with some marvellous photos of beautiful plants, so many in flower! Thoroughly recommended to other branches.
Yes, indeed. We had Mike's talk at Brighton and it was entertaining, informative and extremely well illustrated.

Re: ID please

Graham.

Re: Some mysterious cacti with brown-ish flowers

Escobaria robbinsorum has furrowed tubercles, even as a seedling. Iann's plant looks to me like Turbinicarpus beguinii but with an aberrant flower colour, perhaps hybridised with T. beguinii hintoniorum or T. zaragozae, sometimes also considered a subspecies of T. beguinii.

M23 Road Closure

If you're coming to the Zone 12 Convention tomorrow, please be aware that the M23 is closed Northbound between Crawley and Gatwick all weekend, which will have the effect of diverting heavy traffic onto the surrounding roads, including through Crawley. It might be wise to leave plenty of time for yo...

Re: Zone 12 Convention Sold Out

I'm very sorry but just a reminder that the Convention is completely sold out and unfortunately there can be absolutely no new admissions on the door.

Apologies and thanks for all the support.
