To say I'm in shock would be an understatement. I've had the pleasure of knowing Doug & Doreen now for a good few years and was always welcomed at their home on my infrequent visits and enjoyed their kind hospitality. Doug will be sorely missed, that's for sure. My heart felt condolences to Dore...

My plant got really battered this winter after doing well for a few years, I had to cut out most of the leaves due to rot but managed to save the growing point. Its starting to pull through now. Tina has a very nice big plant growing in her front garden.

Some of mine have a strong lemon scent Phil, whereas with others it's hardly noticeable.

I wouldn't stroke them as you'll end up with lots of cuts or holes in your fingers:X
Probably just need more water Patrick, think Agaves can take a lot of water and don't like being too dry for too long, some do have a tendency to split though along the leaves.

Mine had some rsm damage last year, so I chop the heads off and it pupped well, in bud at the moment which is nice as it hadn't flowered for a couple of years.
