Re: Bulbine questions

I have one similar to your first, except without such a prominent stripe, and I got it as
B. frutescens 'Hallmark'

Re: Just about ready to flower

I'm pretty sure your plant is Aloe variegata, not A. 'Doran Black'. Still a nice plant though.

Re: Crassula pyramadilis

There are definitely other Crassulas which do die after flowering, however. Crassula alpestris is one (for me, at least), and Crassula columnaris, Crassula barbata are others. If you are lucky they might offest before flowering. It's a shame, as the latter two are real gems.

Re: Blossfeldia

I've got some self sown seedlings, from a couple I had in the same pot. They are exceedingly slow.

Re: dioscorea elephantipes

Yep. The bigger the pot you give, potentially the faster it will grow...

Re: Crassula pyramadilis

My plant doesn't die after flowering, it just throws side branches. On the other hand, it is a much bigger, much branched plant. In fact, I have several plants of this under different names (e.g. C. archeri), some of which are more robust than others.

Re: Succulent ID

From the shape of the leaves, I believe it is Crassula arborescens ssp. undulatifolia
