Re: Indoors or outdoors?

My plants are a very random mix from lots of different places, so it's difficult to list them all! Mostly succulents from southern Africa/Madagascar (euphorbias, pachypodium, lithops, a few crassula & various other individuals, including one prized hoodia gordonii), along with some cacti from as...

Until now, my plants have always stayed inside all year round but this year I finally bought a greenhouse (rigid plastic on metal frame, quite small) in the hope of actually seeing something flower. I can s...

Re: Core collection

1. My mother used to collect cacti and my father is an avid outdoor gardener, so I suppose it was natural that I would be interested in both when I grew up! Re: Rare Euphorbia flowering

I'm a big Euphorbia fan too so it's lovely to see these more unusual ones. I'll have to keep an eye out for these the next time I'm looking for more babies!

Re: Its been a long time coming!

The plant is beautiful on its own, but the flowers make it that bit more lovely. Very nice!

Re: There's a Mammillaria under there somewhere.

I love seeing mammillarias (and similar cacti) flowering. The flower always seems enormous when compared to the size of the plant! This one is amazing - well done.

Re: Like a young kid with a new toy

Every flower is exciting to me. I feel it's my plants' way of saying they're happy with me. :-) Very beautiful colour.
