My Cleisto hasn't flowered and I have had it for several years now. It's about 2 feet tall with 6 columns. Do I just need to be patient?

I have repotted the plant today by cutting away the old pot and then handling it by the root/soil base. A few spines ended up in my hands but otherwise very little damage was done. I did as Jim_Mercer said and prepared the new bowl by making a mould of compost around the old pot and dropping the roo...

Potting up M. spinosissima advice

I want to pot up a Mammilaria spinosissima that has finished flowering, into a larger and more attractive pot. How do I do it without breaking the delicate spines?

Echeveria flower

My wife took this picture of an Echeveria that is nearly always in flower except for the winter months. She has a great eye for composition I think. Anyone care to identify the species please?
