Re: Strombocactus disciformis VB15

Impressive Ralph, how big was it when you got it?
Mine is tiny, I only got it a couple of years ago and each summer it has rewarded my with more flowers than you would expect from such a small plant. I would say here's to the next thirty years... agh I'll be in my eighties.

Re: Chamaecereus

An interesting thread thank you Phil.
Another one of those plants that I had many years ago as a youngster growing pocket money plants, sadly long departed but one that I would happily re acquire should I come across one of the original clones.

Re: Unknown succulent

I am no expert but it does look very like the Aloinopsis orpenii I grew from the society seed list last year.

Re: Flowering this evening

Always superb flowers, sadly only for one night as they say.

Seems rather early in the season, nothing doing on mine yet.

Re: BEF Pots - Behind the Scenes

Thank you, I always like the 'In The Factory' type programmes, you just need a narration by Greg Wallis. (tu)
And it reminds me that I must order some pots.

Interesting - very grassy!
And on the edge of a pine (?) forest.

Good morning all.
How can I remove the "solved" marker ?
Report your own post using the ! button and add a note that you would like it 'un solved ' and one of the mods or admin should be able to do it for you.
