Hello Mike I think your plant is Silver ridge I have several from different sources and your plant looks the same.
I grow my plants as single heads they look much better to me and there are plenty of offsets to share around.

Ralph, I have the first plant pictured as Gasteraloe Aveo. But it did come from a garden center. So who knows.

Re: OH, NO!!!
Hi Diane. I do not want to raise your hopes but 12years ago i had a normal A. Re: Succulent watering equipment
If you find a watering can with the same size spout you can cut a length of garden hose to jam into the spout.
Cut a short length of hose and carry it around garden centres until you find the same size can. It works fine
upto about 3ft length.

Re: My house is the greenhouse
Well done on a very nice collection of plants. I no longer use J/inns in any of my plants and my plants are alot better for it, i use just perlite and vermiculite mixed i startered off by using less and less j/inns until i am j/inns free. It takes a huge leap of faith to start with but i am so glad ...

Re: Zone event at Capel Manor 15th March - cancelled
I also heard about it on tuesday night when i saw eddie at chelmsford meeting, he had the list of names with him i was surprised at who were missing. As the society is trying to attract younger members i was wondering if perhaps the word convention was putting newer members off. It is sad because on...

Re: Aloe leave issues
Sorry for the late reply i would not cut the leaves off until they have died right back, and never this time of year. It would be alright to trim the dry portion at the end if you do not cut into the Green. If you cut every leaf off that start to die back you will be left with just a stalk . Brianc.
