I use 50:50 cat litter and grit and it doesn't feel like I water more often, though maybe I do slightly. What balances out any increase in frequency is how little water's needed to wet the whole lot and this really speeds up watering. I like that there's no apparent degeneration in the mix over time...

I bought a seedling, in leaf, in May 2015. It kept these same leaves and grew no more until the spring of 2018, at which point it went dormant. Stems began to regrow from the caudex in the autumn and I'm anticipating that growth will now follow the seasons. Maybe very young plants just don't behave ...

I suspect the reason is that the origin of the newsletter appears to be from a private account on a generic provider, but purports to come from an organisation in the subject heading. Me too, Tony, but I would just like to understand what the "new" fulfillment system is. Officials seem reticent. Transparency is the issue.
