there were some RSM type bugs so they have been removed from the greenhouse. Tina.... I always have to watch my Dioscorea as they (all) seem to tempt the RSM out for a feast. The other plant I have particular problems with is Brighamia insignis, which the beasties just adore chomping at :evil: Jez

Winston, Pijaya, Thanks. I will just have to do the best I can..... at least the conditions will be relatively stable in the house. I put a lot of my adeniums and other 'tender' plants on a large heated propagator base in winter, and many of them do keep at least some leaves. Perhaps I'll be lucky.....

Thanks! It is interesting that I have not had seed pods develop before. I wonder if there is a particular pollinator that might have been 'to blame'.

I can not claim much responsibility for this, but since the flowers are, to my mind, quite pretty, I thought I would post anyway. Despite all the effort of breeders to generate hybrids the 'original' still compares well! The picture doesn't quite do it justice, but this is the best I have managed so...
