Re: Cactusbase Pro Solved
I have them same problem, and don't hold out hopes for an update after so long but do wonder what happened and if the software developer is ok. I have been using the program using the Windows Virtual PC built into Windows 7 but it is a bit awkward to use. I did try using my own Microsoft Access data...

Re: Ant plant without the ants livens up Solved
I don't have any experience to share but am fascinated by these plants and would love to grow them one day. Apparently they like it warm and humid and do well in terrariums kept more like epiphytic orchids or Nepenthes than classic caudiciforms which I guess is why yours has appreciated the shadier ...

Mystery plants reveals itself - Anacampseros marlothii?
I retrieved this plant from the rubbish pile that accumulated while sorting out a late branch member's collection several years ago. Then it was a small tuberous root with just a couple of tiny leaves sticking out the top and nobody was interested it. I had no idea what it was but it has been slowin...

Re: Well the insects like it Solved
The hoverflies are Episyrphus balteatus - the 'marmalade fly'. There is currently an exceptionally big influx of migrants from the continent, swarms of them in my garden too. Haemanthus albiflos is one of my favourite bulbs, I am tempted to dig my one out from under the bench now and pop it in the g...
