Re: Epiphyllum beauty
I just found this thread and have read every post. I've been taking care of someone's Epiphyllum (I think there are E. oxypetalum) and really like the long swooping stems. So does anyone know of another Epiphyllum with long swooping stems but with flowers that last more than one night? Even better i...

Re: Aloe polyphylla is tasty to some [large] pest!

Re: Aloe polyphylla is tasty to some [large] pest!
What a shame. It must be something bigger than slugs, so I'd guess rabbits, unless you have a tortoise on the loose. Oh goodness not rabbits! I have not seen rabbits around but possible. It is interesting they would reach over a bed of sedum and up to that pot (it sits on top of a brick). Hmm...

Aloe polyphylla is tasty to some [large] pest!
Something large ate through the centre of my Aloe polyphylla last night. I think the plant may be fine but there is a large hole through about half the main stem. Any idea as to what might have cause this?

Re: Haworthia flower spike plantlet
I have not had a plantlet on a flower spike but I would leave it to get as big as it can until the spike dies before potting it up. On a side note, I have finally managed to propagate Haworthias from leaves pealed off from the base of the plant. I've seen other people be very successful with this an...
