I have one Echinocactus grusonii of the yellow-spined variety that has survived forty years with me and has lived in an unheated greenhouse (where for sure temperatures have gone well below 5 or 6 degrees) and survived without marking. It may well be that younger plants are more susceptible to cold ...

There were two qualities of the "original" BEF pots - they were a good shape for our needs and they were of superb quality. el48tel is right - I trust Manchester as the beneficiaries of the BEF legacy to see us right.

I had no problem in receiving the newsletter when it was sent from the account that was used up until autumn last year. When it was then sent out from the new account I stopped receiving them, so there is obviously some factor (goodness knows what!) in play at the distribution end. I had similar. I...
