Thanks Mike, most of mine are in a large gravel tray, which I flood quite regularly (although sometimes I water individually). Yes, I wondered about Edithcolea, I have a couple of small rooted cuttings, a seedling, and a larger plant that has just lost its roots (sigh...) and wondered whether to try...

I'm always happy with a Stapeliad thread!.
