Re: Time for a name change?

How about "Hooked"? Or even "Stung"? :shrugs:

And maybe Silverhill seeds will be able to provide some seeds.

What happened to Silverhill then? There were rumours that the business would be taken over following those tragic events last year, but on the website Rod and Rachel Saunders are still mentioned as the owners. Does anybody know?

That's a lovely A. bakeri, Mike! I have a plant labelled A. bakeri with orange and yellow flowers, rather than bright yellow as yours.

Re: Wrong time to sow Haworthia seeds

Re: Updated seed lists

Well I didn't have this group on my radar so far, and the list looks excellent, so it's good to know about it. Definitely one to look out for when it is next updated! (tu)

Re: Succulent collection at Winterbourne (Birmingham)

Thanks for your nice comment everyone  Should you wish to visit and meet the cactus volunteers, they tend to be around on Tuesdays and on Fridays - just ask for them at the entrance of Winterbourne House.

Re: Mammillaria boolii

It's so nice to see all these pictures, and also to track the progress of your seedlings, Christer! I've started growing a few Mammillaria from seed recently, and I must say it is particularly rewarding to observe their transformation as they develop their more adult spination, as you show us here.

Stunning flowers! If only they were a little bit less fickle to grow...
