Re: Enjoying the afternoon sun...

Sunshine in a pot! Lovely...

I have a few Titanopsis forms growing from Mesa seed - one year olds, far from flowering age, but already looking quite intriguing.

Re: It thinks its April

Nice to see some flowers again!

I love that M. plumosa - I always thought they flowered in the autumn... the red/pink colour is rather nice. No signs of flowers on any of my cacti as yet, but it's early days.

How about "Hooked"? Or even "Stung"? :shrugs:

What happened to Silverhill then? There were rumours that the business would be taken over following those tragic events last year, but on the website Rod and Rachel Saunders are still mentioned as the owners. Does anybody know?

Use kitchen roll over drainage holes rather than gravel or crocks.

That's a lovely A. bakeri, Mike! I have a plant labelled A. bakeri with orange and yellow flowers, rather than bright yellow as yours.

Re: Wrong time to sow Haworthia seeds

I'd sow now. I usually get excellent germination from Haw Soc seed, from the five seeds usually in a packet four or five tend to germinate. This year, I got some Gasteria seed, left it six months before sowing - no germination, and of the Haworthias that I sowed from the same list fewer than usual c...

Re: Updated seed lists

Well I didn't have this group on my radar so far, and the list looks excellent, so it's good to know about it. Definitely one to look out for when it is next updated! (tu)
