Re: Warning!
Bill, The latest Haworthia Journal was posted on Saturday so you should receive it and the seed list soon. Good news for those who can't wait to get sowing (more) seed! The seed list is very good, with lots of Aloes, Haworthias and Gasterias, and a few other species. Some seed was donated by David C...

Re: Muiria hortenseae seedlings
Dear Rogan,
Thanks for the info about Siverhill Seeds, I was trying to find out where I could get some Muria seed, so it was very helpful.

Re: Muiria hortenseae seedlings
Curtis,
I wonder if your seedlings are the Muiria -gibbaeum hybrid?
This may explain their appearance?
Time will tell,

Re: Muiria hortenseae seedlings
Well done in getting this far. When did you sow the seed, and how long did they take to germinate?
Also where did you get the seed from?

Re: Cactus butchering
Ian, it is very intersting to read this thread, and to see all the different views on your project,- I suppose that is what the forum is all about, the exchange of ideas.
I say go for it, and I will be looking forward to hearing how you get on.

Re: Fine grit

He always has some interesting plants for sale, so going to the Nursery fot more grit is always a good excuse to look at his pl...

I bought my plant about 2 years ago from Terry Smale, and have moved it from a 2inch square pot to a 3 inch round in that time. It seems to do better if ...

Re: MSG journal and seed list
I received my MSG seed just over a week ago, and planted them straight away. I now have germination in 5 pots already, and that is just in poly bags on the window sill.
