Re: euphorbias as promised

Thank you for the detailed description about your repotting regime.

To repot into a dry compost early in the year make a lot of sense.

I tend to repot when I can but this year after seeing your splendid Euphorbias I will be a doing a lot of repotting in the spring!!

It happened that I had some old Nasturtium seed from 1995, so rather than throw them away I tried to germinate them. I used an old plant saucer and put some damp paper towel into it with several se...

Re: euphorbias as promised

Brian, thank you for posting the euphorbias as promised, they do look good as larger sized plants. I do have quite a few Euphorbias, but mostly they are in smaller pots. The bigger ones I have are showing their age, perhaps if I re pot them they may look better. Perhaps I should wait until the weath...

Re: Adventures in central Mexico

Thank you for posting the great pictures of your Mexican trip. - wonderful photography.
It brings back memories of our trip to Mexico with our friend Martin Smith who was at the time working at El Charco.

Re: Derek Bowdery

Derek was someone who always supported events and was always cheerful and smiling. I first met him at the Judges Course in the 1980's and later remember him coming to Sheffield Branch with Karen to give a talk. He and Karen came to us before the meeting for a meal and we had a lovely time together. ...

Re: Philip Downs

Chris and I knew Philip very well, we met him in the early 1960s when we were all students together at the Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Philip was a member of Sheffield Branch for many years and became Chairman of the Branch for several years. We missed him when he and Ansie emigrated to New Zealan...
