Fascinating! I acquired a small cactiforme in autumn and have watered it 3 times this winter. Each time it has reacted well and firmed up.

Bob Potter sells pumice and will post it or you can collect it from him if he is at an show or giving a talk, Exotica/specks always grew all plants in pure pumice. Mike, nice looking larryleachia there, cultivation tips, mine are nearly annuals Yes I was looking at the Larryleachia with envious eyes.

Mike, it says £8 but doesn't say what you get for it that I can see.

I am sufficiently convinced by the argument and have repotted a dozen Stapeliads into pur cat litter to monitor their progress this year.

I think that's an excellent theory Terry.

As it happens I water my Aloes all year round but not December and January and work with weather November and February.

The "winter growing" Aloes get a little more late and early.
