Ah, just one problem. They are on a a shelf and watering means the water runs straight through and drenches everything underneath. I now put them into big bowls to water then put them back on the shelf. Incidentally half my grass Aloe seedlings are in cat litter. Not much to choose so far between th...

Diane, so far so good with most growing happily. A small handful are still undecided but unfortunately that includes Tavaresia and Edithcolea but as they were only repotted in March I suspect it's just the roots getting used to a different environment. Just grow them eltel. Worry about the smell if and when it happens.

Incidentally many years ago I exhibited a full pan of flowering Piaranthus at a Birmingham show. It cleared the room.

Mike, not sure I agree with you about your Trichocaulons (now Hoodias). I think the grey colour is more how they should look rather than green.

I have Desmidorchis acutangula as opposed to Caralluma but names are forever changing. This is a 2 year old seedling.

I thought it used to be called Lomatophyllum but is now Aloe?
