I do give both full sun and no heat in winter which requires a long winter rest so one of those factors works for me.

Must be a good year for them as mine has obliged as well. And the brachyclada which flowers well each year.

Found this had opened today in the poly tunnel but sadly only had the phone with me. Flowering at four segments so not too long a wait for this one perform.

Yes I tend to think of mandragora as being different to minuta by having the sea green epidermis and paler flowers.

Good work with the conoidea as I can’t get mine to flower at all.
Odd segment and flower colour for the mandragora as the segments usually have that slightly sea green colouring and pale lemony / white flowers. What colour is the stigma when it opens?

I have never understood why they are relatively short lived in cultivation but not in habitat where they reach many times the size of their cultivated cousins.
