Re: Advice on Giant Yucca control please!

If a high proportion of the leaves on each rosette are yellow, then that suggests a lack of nutrients, which is not surprising given the relatively small pot. Regular liquid feeds will help (even if you repot it).

Re: Can I save my dying Agave?

I'd agree with Terry that looks exactly like tortrix moth. The spray you have used will likely be ineffective as their webbing shields them from spraying very effectively. Your best bet is to use a fine pair of tweezers to fish out the caterpillar

Re: Columns

Difficult to get in the greenhouse this time of year until the plants start going out for the summer but here are a couple of views. They may be unfashionable but I like the variety

Re: Daubenya

That’s curious, the Kew description on line describes the flowers as 3cm long including the spur. Mine are 25mm. Perhaps the difference is in cultivation, I only got mine last year so still a relatively small plant (although up in the eaves of the greenhouse already from the pot on the ground)

Re: Daubenya

That’s identical to my plant so perhaps not very variable?

Tropaeolum tricolor has got quite showy flowers, several cm long. Have you checked out your plant Ralph?
I also grow tricolor, the flowers are pretty but as Ralph says, very small.

I’d check your thermometer.
Mine lives at 5 or so in winter and doesn’t get so marked.
You took the words out of my mouth, mine is kept at around 6C and has never marked.

Re: Conophytum Luckhoffii

You could restart it from cuttings. I had to do that with luckhoffii last year and it certainly reinvigorates it.
