Re: Forum appearance

Thanks for all your work Bill, I'm sure we will get used to the changes. Just a couple of comments - I could not manage with a smaller font on my i-pad; also it now says I am a seed distributor, actually I am my branch's show secretary. Thanks again.

Re: Late flowers

Lovely plant and flowers Ray, one of my favourites, although mine has never flowered this late - it is still very mild here in the south. Thanks for posting.

Re: Starting again.

Hi, you seem to be doing very well with plants and the right equipment so you have made a good re-start. I try to keep my greenhouse at 5 C minimum in the winter and keep plants dry. On a fine sunny day I would open the windows, just to help air flow and ventilation. I don't have any Epiphyllums, so...

Re: My (non-flowering) Echinocerei

Another interesting set of photos and this plant certainly looks much happier. My attempts with Echinocerei have been rather unsuccessful, but you have inspired me to try again. Thanks for posting.

Re: My (non-flowering) Echinocerei

Hi Wilk, a very interesting comparison and yes, your plant looks much happier in the second photo. Have you noticed before that a plant looks happier in a clay pot?

Re: New here and New to London

Hi Chris and welcome to the Forum. I hope that your little display will do well, perhaps some alpines might be suitable? although it might be too warm indoors for them. Good luck.

Hi Tawgaw, welcome to the Forum. Lyn's videos are lovely, so I can see why you have been inspired, and you are quite right about the variety of colours and textures. Look forward to seeing some photos.

Re: Who gets your plants when you die?

Peter, I completely agree with your summary and thank you for posting this sad tale; I am sure that your efforts have brought some comfort to your friend. Something we can all do is to remember to include our plants when making a will- mine are also going to my BCSS branch. But it is also good to be...
