Hi, Frank, yes it could probably do with a bit more sun - It sits under a shelf at present, gets sun from the side, maybe I'll have to bring it out a bit. At least it's not all green, like some I see! It does usually flower, without problem, and I expect it will soon.

Hi, Roy, Tavaresias can be a problem, can't they? You are doing well to keep it for any length of time. I had two of these, the other passed away, I keep it on a "hotplate" in the winter, but it's in the open gh at the moment - it has a little water over the winter to keep the roots ticking over. IM...

Huernia pillansii - some people seem to have a problem growing it - my problem is to stop it growing! no sooner do I repot it than it spreads out to fill the pot. No flowers just yet though.

No. 2 is F. emoryi (aka F. covillei v rectispinus or F. rectispinus) very distinctive as a seedling, but loses some of its charm when fully grown.
