Seed raising compost
Last season I had a good show sowing seeds in Tesco finest.As there is no feed in this could you suggest a possible fertiliser to add to compost prior sowing. Thank you

It always amazes me that these plants from NW Africa will flower in cold damp and sunless west Wales.

Hi all , I was given this plant and it flowered (white) well before Christmas, and again well after Christmas. I have read it must be allowed to go dormant before I can take cuttings. Should I treat it as an Easter cacti, and if so when will it be ready to take cuttings. Thank you

After a year you must be so frustrated. I do not know the price or value of this plant, but I would be nearing the kill or cure period now. Time to try anything to root it or kill it.
I have also found Tesco Finest is one of the best rooting mediums of late too.

Hi all, I agree with Akko re the paper idea and fleece, also I think that bubble wrap is ineffective after a few hours and can cause condensation.
