Nor have I. I suspect it won´t arrive until the second half of January. Before 2013 I used to get my copy before many in the UK got theirs,but now, going via Switzerland,it takes 4-5 weeks Before it arrives on my doorstep.

There is also the book by Rudolf Schulz- Copiapoa 2006. Byt the problem with most monographs is that they usually presents pictures of plants in habitat and cultivated plants might look very different from that so one has to read the description very carefully!

It´s E.enopla for sure .E.ferox(horrida)is a much bigger plant and offsets mainly from the base.

As far as I know there is no nursery in Puerto Rico, bust most flower shops have cacti for sale and one can make really nice finds with a bit of luck!
I would also like to say thank you to all that have provided me with addresses to various nurseries. Looks like it could be a really exciting trip!

buying cacti in Spain
Malaga. Anyone knows of cactus/succulent nurseries in the neighbourhood of Malaga? I know there are Botanical Gardens,but they don´t usually sell cacti so a nursery or a well stocked Garden Center would be nice. I and my better half are visiting a friend in Malaga for a week around the new year and ...
