I concur with Agavegeoff's colour scheme. Very clear and legible. Could brown be the new colour?

Re: Website Development
This is meant as positive input not criticism and may simply be coincidental. It seems to me that the colour of the photos has deteriorated since the new format. In particular photos on RICHAUD's recent posts. The background now looks very bright and the plant almost insignificant? May be it is only...

Re: Delinquent mouse
I have a family of mice in my greenhouse. I have been trying to kill them off with Mouse/Rat killer containing doff. All I can say is - they love it and keep coming back for more. It certainly has not killed them. I had two and they have definitely got babies now!! Do any chemicals work any more? It...

Re: Crassula Ovata
Hi, You should probably re-pot into bigger pot next spring. If you plant the little bits that have fallen off, even the leaves, they will grow so you will not lose the whole plant. Just place in or on compost and do not water they will root, and you can plant properly next spring. The flowers are ve...

Re: My little collection
Wow! Awesome. your ruprspinus is a beauty. Mine has never flowered. Is there a secret to getting it to flower? Is there some magic needed? If so what?
I do not think your collection is small. You seem to have some stunning specimens. Keep posting.
Thanks

What a shame Phil. It was a beauty. If you plant some of the bits you have left, it should come back in time but it is quite slow growing. Mine are only tiny.

Father Christmas Cacti
I went into Wilkos today here in Andover. Following the recent thread on abuse of cacti, someone should have a word with Wilkos. They are now selling barrel shaped cacti dressed up as Father Christmas - complete with hat, glasses and not forgetting the beard. There was a complete tray of 24 - varyin...

Perhaps if no "contraversial" subjects are used, all will be amicable. I thought half the "fun" was debate! May be some of us are too sensitive. I know I would not want the job of mod.
