Re: Focus stacking test
Thanks el48tel, I decided to try out HeliconFocus and downloaded the trial version. This time I tried it on my Matucana intertexta. I am now tempted to purchase the software.

Focus stacking test
Here is my first attempt at focus stacking. I just used the photoshop autoblend layer function. It looks pretty good at first glance but some of the focused layers are visibly superimposed with the “unfocused” layers. What software do you use photo guru out there use to stitch photons and any tips o...

Re: Tephrocactus geometricus AFTER germination
Thank you both, they are planted in 1:1:1 screened pumice, John Innes type compost, and fine gravel.
I'll wait for another 2 weeks before removing them from their bags, and I hope the ones that already germinated would not rot before that time.

Tephrocactus geometricus AFTER germination
Hello, I have recently sown a batch of tephrocactus geometricus using the standard baggie method (heat sterilized medium with airtight zip-loc bags, then put under lamps on heat mat), which I use for all my cacti seeds. This morning I went to check on them and saw that few of them have popped up. Wh...
