as for the plastic cover in the winter... hope it doesn't get too windy up there! How are you going to manage to fix it so that it doesn't take off??

I'm sorry about suggesting the vinegar, I am pleased that I was put right quickly! I had no idea it would be harmful...

Going along the same lines (ie mild acid), could lemon juice be used??
Anyone out there know if it would be harmful to the plant??

Looks like E. Trigona, mine does the same with it's leaves! It usually grows new green leaves at the top of the stems (mine is MUCH smaller though!)
