First flowers this year

image.jpg
First - little flowers. Hope this works as using an old iPhone to do this. I know they need repotting but always worry that the plant won't like it and give up!!

A pot of Kalanchoe Blossfeldiana

221214 008.JPG Hope this works! I clean in a local children centre?Sure Start. They have one of these plants in one of the rooms and is starting to look very leggy and drawn up (doesn't really get much light or sun). I started to take cuttings from it usually after some flowers had finished and eit...

Re: Mammillaria plumosa

Re: Rain water collection kits (Elite)

Can you convert an "old fashioned dustbin" - you know the plastic round things with lids but no wheels  - into a water butt? I have one sitting in my garage and would like to try and "attach" it to a down pipe at the back of the house (normal drain pipe size) as the grid see...

Re: Latest Tesco abomination

You think they are bad, look in Wilkinsons I think it was! Couldn't even see the plant as the leaves have been "painted" by glittery silver (or purple option) type "paint". It is a succulent but not an expert Echeveria? :?: Worse than the painted heathers I saw!

Re: Mammillaria plumosa

Yes Diane, it was from you  I keep thinking it should be in a slightly larger pot but always put of...

Re: Latest Tesco abomination

Well you saved the plant from suffering in Tesco for longer than necessary, bit of TLC hopefully the bits of decoration will come off!! The care leaflet was very good of them I suppose, though "prickly foliage" - will someone mention that to me silly cat who seems to be obsessed with one o...
