Re: Succulent ID please??
The only one I'm not sure on is no.5 it just doesn't look quite the same as any of the Crassula Ovata photos I've seen. The leaves are rounder, and it seems to grow single stems rather than the tree like form. But I could just have neglected it   Hi Robynfs, I could well be very wrong wit...

Re: Succulent ID please??
No 2 looks like Haworthia limifolia, last one appears to be Crassula ovata, give it plenty of light to stop it becoming leggy. A care guide for the last one can be found here https://www.houseplantsexpert.com/jade-plant.html

Re: potting compost
Hi Bryan, Yes that's the stuff. Looks too good for the garden. We add RHS potting grit, Tesco cat litter, Rock dust and fish, blood & bone fertiliser ratio 2:1:1:0.5:1 handful fertiliser, mix well. Suzanne Great stuff, it's cheaper than Westland  (tu) RE usage; 12 bags of it was mixed wit...

Re: potting compost
Personally I use Westland but I still have to riddle out the unwanted bits before i mix it with any sand, gravel and/or coir. I would use more expensive stuff if i didn't have to re-pot so often. I purchased a set of Bonsai Stainless Steel Garden Sieves off e-bay for less than £20 delivered I use it...

Re: Succulents on TV again Solved
Cacti and succulents also appeared in the part of the show about houseplants at the start, but they were being planted in a terrarium and placed on a shelf away from a window so it wasn't the most useful advice. I was cussing the TV when that came on  I thoroughly enjoyed the Surreal Succulent...

Re: PlanetoHuerto
In which case, can anyone recommend an alternative source of suitable pumice?! Chris I had to resort to Bonsai pumice Chris, I couldn't collect from Surrey and eventually purchased from a seller on ebay named 'tannashad' - they were the only ones selling 16ltr bags with delivery by UPS included in ...

Re: My Black Box - Updated Pics
I purchased a 2nd Generation multi-spectrum LED panel earlier this week to see how good they are. 2ndGenPanel1.jpg I swapped it for one of the red/blue panels to see how the plants reacted to it. So far the only thing I've really noticed is the Faucaria tigrina seedlings that were window-sill reared...
